  • Excellent food tour in Mahebourg
On Tuesday myself and 2 friends did the Mahebourg food tour, accompanied by Adrien and Dada, the 2 tour guides. I absolutely loved it, from start to finish, the guides were very friendly, informative and of course the food delicious. Being a Mauritian, I discovered some dishes that I had not tasted before which I would definitely eat again whenever I have the occasion. At some point there was a little rain, and the guides even took out their umbrellas to lend us which was very kind. The history of Mahebourg is very interesting, so to be able to learn more about the history and tastes some good food all in one is just the best. Thank you Taste buddies for this.

  • A great moment, once again!
We had been doing the "Port Louis street food tour" a few months ago (we live in Mauritius) and even if we all knew Port Louis quite well, we discovered wonderful places and tastes. So we were eager to go through Mahebourg and were not disappointed! The town is very typical but not easy to discover (like Port Louis). We had wonderful food in some lovely places, a cultural and historical review of Mahebourg, our guides were kind, easy going and very professional. Their tour is unique in Mauritius and I strongly recommend.
