You will discover many varieties of surprising vegetables such as ‘Lalo’, ‘Margoz’ and ‘Pipengaille’ amongst many others which you will learn how to cook. You will also be taught about the ancient use of spices and how to get the perfect balance to prepare the reputed Mauritian cuisine. Together, you will prepare a main course and various side dishes, such as ‘faratas’, ‘rotis’, ‘ti puri’ and ‘dholl puri’ and different curries and dessert, while discussing the history of the Mauritian cuisine as well as Mauritian lifestyle.
