To wrap up the cruise, you will be taken on a snorkeling journey to one of the most amazing spots of our island known as Troumouto.
Your day will start with the visit of one of the largest islands of the Mauritian territory, Ile aux Cerfs, famous for its sandy beaches and pristine lagoon. Lunch will be served at the back of the island and includes salads, grilled garlic bread, BBQ chicken and fish followed by our typical grilled banana or pineapple for dessert. Drinks such as wine, beer, soft drinks, juice, water, coffee & local rum are provided during lunch.
Afterward you will cruise along the natural scenery of the mountain chains towards Grand River South East, the longest river on the island which leads to one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Mauritius. Surrounded by lush nature and impressive ravines, witness a 30 km river which flows along the Bambou mountain chain to meet the magnificent waterfall in the bay of Anse Cunat. This place offers a pure moment of relaxation and breathtaking views within Mother Nature.
You will continue to Ile aux Flamants, a magnificent island reputed for its romantic atmosphere and its natural beauty. There, you will enjoy the unique setting and tranquility that this islet offers.
The next island is Ile aux Phares, also named Ile aux Fouquets. Although small in size, this island offers some breathtaking views and is home to some of the oldest fortifications of Mauritius dating from the Napoleonic period. Discover the secrets that lie within the island!
Last but not least, you will head to Ile de la Passe only a few kilometers from Ile aux Phares. This island also holds great importance in the history of Mauritius as it was a prominent and strategic defense for both British and French troops in the 18th century. The structures of the fortifications and ruins found on site are the oldest and most preserved in Mauritius.
Before you return to shore, the speedboat will take you to Troumouto, one of the best snorkeling spots situated on the South East coast of Mauritius near Mahebourg, where you will discover a wide variety of marine species and corals. Snorkeling gear is provided.
